Link Resource Database

Links to reliable sources (news articles, research, and analysis) for informed opposition to dragnet mass surveillance.

This database focuses on facts and reporting rather than opinion or philosophy. The more reliable, the better. We're looking for things that can be presented to elected officials and other decision-makers as independent, reliable sources that they should take seriously.

"To ensure that the system is being utilized properly, the department said it will review license plate reader searches daily and "suspend access for any immigration-related search that is identified, to confirm the Flock feature banning searches related to immigration matters is working as expected.""

Notes: Worth noting that Flock has already made it impossible for officers to accidentally identify their network-searches as immigration-related. But this will enable them to report that the thing that can't be entered doesn't show up anymore. Problem solved?
